Jodi is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator. She specializes in working with clients interested in weight loss, diabetes management, and bariatric surgery (pre and post-operative). Assisting clients with setting realistic, achievable goals and watching the transformations take place is the best part of her job!
As a registered dietitian, Jodi has worked in clinical and government settings. She has counseled adults, individually and in groups, to break down barriers as they begin to make significant diet and lifestyle changes. With over five years of experience in obesity and weight loss counseling, Jodi has had the privilege of walking side by side with hundreds of individuals on their journey to improved health.
In 2015, Jodi earned the credential of Certified Diabetes Educator and has assisted adults with Type 1, Type 2, and gestational diabetes to achieve better blood sugar control and reduced Hemoglobin A1c’s. As a dietitian and diabetes educator, she provides nutrition education while helping individuals understand all aspects of diabetes – medication and insulin, testing blood sugar, emotional aspects of dealing with the diagnosis, and how to exercise safely with diabetes.
When Jodi is not at Nourish, she enjoys spending time with her family. Weekends are filled with hiking, biking, cooking, and of course- eating! Jodi became a dietitian because she loves food! As a new mom, she is constantly searching for and preparing quick and balanced meals that can be on the table in minutes.
