I have lost about 15-17 pounds and feel great. I am following the plan you had set up; the only change is that it is tough for me to eat all the veggies with meals, so I spread them out over snacks as well. I try to eat at least 6 cups of veggies daily. I have stopped eating after dinner, and do at least a 12 hour fast between dinner and breakfast. I feel great and my mind is clearer than it has been in years. So that is my update. I am so grateful to you for your help, Samantha. You have helped me change my life for the better. Thanks so much.

My nutrition session with Samantha was very impressive. She is knowledgeable and pleasant to talk with; I learnt about new foods she introduced to me. Samantha made me feel at total ease. She was very pleasant and her office had a very warm personal feeling. Samantha explained what and why she was making my plan. Hi, I have been working with Miss Walters for 6 months and have received excellent advice on meals and snacks to eat. I have lost 25 lb I feel and look great. My A1C was 6.7, now that the six months it is 6.0. Thank you for all your help.
Three months ago, I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. I was very confused about trying to understand what to eat, when to eat, and even how to eat. My doctor recommended I start a medication, and that I make an appointment at Nourish. I met with Caroline and after the first visit felt I had a much better understanding of modification I could make to my diet to help control my blood sugar. I loved being able to keep in touch with her via email for questions between appointments and found her to be caring and extremely well informed. I just had my first 90 day check up with my physician, and my A1C has gone down almost 3 points, to almost normal range, my cholesterol and triglycerides are back in normal range, and I have lost 15 pounds. I am so grateful for the support and care I have received from Caroline and Nourish. I would highly recommend their services.
My husband and I met with Abby the other day. She was incredibly helpful and kind. We had some expectations for our session, though Abby exceeded all of them. She gave us ideas on simple ways to prepare food (we don't cook so much:) as well as other helpful tips. Abby also emailed us a wonderful recipe book that is very, very helpful.
Jodi is excellent. She helps you with your dietary needs by finding out your current eating style and what you like, then works around this. She is realistic in her approach and has guided me to analyse my own eating habits, so that through her knowledge and inspiration, I myself have figured ways to help me reach my goal. I found my appointment with my dieitian to be exactly what I was looking for to improve my diet and health issues. Jodi helped me design a meal program to met my needs for my health issues I want to improve. She was very knowledge and the experience was excellent. I would recommend her to others.
Between my wife and myself we have had about five visits with Melanie. We both found Melanie delightful to work with. She is friendly but professional. She conveyed important information that was understandable and practicable, without being "preach-ie" (if that's a word). My recent follow-up visit was reassuring. With her help I seem to be on the right track. Also, I found that the practice's website is very "slick" and the scheduling function very convenient and easy to use. Don't stop improving but you are already doing a great job.
I am very grateful to my dietitian who has been supporting me in my healthy journey. Since our first inspirational meeting, Abby guided me on portion size, alternatives that I might enjoy, and a focus on protein and additional exercise. I was happy to lose weight the first month, and change some habits enabling me to get off some of the medications I had needed to take. Because it is not a drastic change from my old habits, I don't find it difficult to follow and I naturally eat so much healthier now. I don't feel deprived or stressed about food. My nutritionist was very informative. I have been exercising every day, with the exception of illness, since November 2013. I’ve always eaten a healthy diet or so I thought. My visit with Samantha made me realize that limiting the things I shouldn’t eat doesn’t necessarily mean I’m eating a healthy diet. For me, it’s easy to avoid unhealthy foods. What isn’t easy is knowing what, how much, or when to eat the things I should be eating. I could not be more pleased with my visit.
I am 53 years old. I had my first appointment with my nutritionist, Melanie Beers. My daughter scheduled this for me. Initially, I went to the appointment with the mindset of simply going through the motions to satisfy my daughter's request that I go. To my surprise, my meeting was very informative and I learned a lot. Melanie was excellent! She was able to answer all of my questions with expertise and knowledge. This was the first time I had ever come to a nutritionist and come to terms with the fact that I need help and guidance. Hi Diana, Just wanted to let you know I'm down to 190 pounds (from 242.5), I just recently had bloodwork done and my Triglycerides dropped from 281 to 76. On December 24th, I participated in a cyclocross race and won my division and finished 2nd in the entire field of entrants. I just became Certified as a Spinning Instructor and I'm going to be getting certified by ACE as a Sports Performance Counselor. (My wife) has dropped from a size 20 to a size 14 dress; I'm still working on encouragement to be disciplined (I'm still seeing transactions on our bank ledger for McDonalds, etc- definitely not as often nor the charges are not as much) and working on nonprocessed foods (Since we have Mom's Organic Market near us that's becoming one of my faves). (My 2 daughters) have been participating in 5K running events over the fall, as well as did their first Duathlon (run,bike,run).
